The Cycling Federation of Nigeria, CFN has roled out the timeline for its Board election holding on Sunday, September 14, 2025 in Abuja as it is one of the 13 federations cleared by the Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC to conduct their elections in line with their Constitutions.
According to the timeline released by CFN secretary general, Joel Akinluwa, the 5-member electoral committee was set up on August 30 and inaugurated on September 3, 2025 while collection of nomination forms began on September 4, 2025.
The Electoral Committee has Mrs. Sheyba Jefferson as Chairman, Mr. Abdulmumeen Mohammed, Mr. Imodu Francis and Mr. Emmanuel David are members while Mr. Yusuf Mustapha Mohammed will serve as secretary.
Akinluwa said nomination forms should be collected from the CFN secretariat and the Directors of Sports in the States or the office of the Zonal Coordinators in the zones while all completed forms should be submitted to the secretary general of the CFN on or before Monday, September 8.
The CFN has however, confirmed that all concerned institutions have concluded elections and nominations and have forwarded the names of their representatives to the federation except for the Armed forces/ Para Military and the AFFAN.
Screening of forms will take place on September 10, four days before the election. Petitions and appeals shall hold on the same day of the election to allow for the inauguration of the new Board on monday, September 15, the election timeline stated.

The upcoming CFN board election seems well-organized, but I wonder about the transparency and fairness of the process. How can we ensure that all candidates are given equal opportunities? Also, why are the Armed Forces-Para Military and AFFAN still pending their nominations? I appreciate the detailed timeline, but it would be beneficial to know more about the criteria for screening and how petitions will be handled. What measures are in place to prevent any potential biases? Overall, it’s great to see progress, but clarity on these points would strengthen trust in the election process.
We have integrated libersave into our regional voucher system. It’s fantastic how it simplifies bundling various providers on a single platform. Whith regards, EURWE

Yo probe PayPal y no tuve comisiones.
