Officials of world football governing body, FIFA and the Confederation of African Football, CAF, will next week meet with the National Sports Commission, NSC, in Abuja to chart the way forward for Nigerian football.

This followed the resignation of the NFF executive committee led by its president, Ibrahim Gusau.

The parley will be expected to decide a normalisation committee that will take charge of the much-needed reform of Nigerian football.

In the meantime, the processes leading to NFF elections on September 27 in Lafia have been suspended.
