MANCHESTER UNITED fan group The 1958 expects between 5,000 and 6,000 fans to gather before the home match against Fulham on February 1.
United beat Manchester City in temporary head coach Michael Carrick’s first game in charge last week and head to Arsenal on Sunday.
Despite United’s fifth-placed status in the Premier League, they are already assured of a trophyless season having gone out of the League Cup and the FA Cup at the first time of asking.
Since Ratcliffe officially became a minority investor in February 2024, United have endured their worst league season in 51 years, finishing 15th last term and failing to qualify for Europe.
The club also lost the Europa League final to a Tottenham side that finished lower in the table then sacked its coach Ange Postecoglou.
United dismissed Ruben Amorim, the first head coach appointment on Ratcliffe’s watch, on January 5 after he publicly challenged director of football Jason Wilcox.
A protest planned for the first game of the season against Arsenal was aborted after United spent more than £200million on Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
The 1958 claim that time has been “squandered” in a season where United have won only nine of their 24 matches.
In a statement, The 1958 said: “Jim Ratcliffe chose to get into bed with the Glazers and, in our opinion, is helping to keep them in charge.
“Twenty-one years of a debt mountain, mismanagement and financial greed is 21 years too long. Enough is enough.
