Turkish champions Galatasaray are sweating on the fitness of Victor Osimhen for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League Playoffs return leg at Juventus.
This is even as report by Turkish newspaper, Hurriyet has it that he is yet to receive his salaries for January and February. Osimhen is on a bumper annual salary of between 18 and 21 million euros.
Galatasaray issued an official statement that Osimhen was at the gym Sunday to continue his rehabilitation.
The Super Eagles striker missed a 2-0 loss by Galatasaray at Konyaspor at the weekend with coach Okan Buruk disclosing he was having some pains in his right knee.
Osimhen provided two assists for Galatasaray to shock Juventus 5-2 in a Champions League Playoffs first leg last week.
