Three first half goals, two coming from Remo Stars of Ikenne players and the third from a Rangers of Enugu player were all the Super Eagles Team B, known as CHAN Eagles needed to stop the Black Galaxies from the 2024 CAF African Nations Championships, CHAN slated for February 1-24, 2025 in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.

The Nigerian side who were held to a barren draw in Accra last Sunday scored all three goals in a space of six minutes with Ismaila Sodiq and Nduka Junior, both of Remo Stars hitting target in the 19th and 22nd minutes respectively while Isaac Saviour of Enugu Rangers made it three with a beautiful strike in the 25th minute
Black Galaxies whose coach, Didi Dramani, had boasted that his wards would score in Uyo and keep a clean slate, however, managed a late strike in the 73rd minute through Stephen Amankona to reduce the tally but crashed out on a 3-1 aggregate score.
Nigeria last appeared at the Championship made for players plying their football trade on the African continent in 2018 in Morocco where they lost 4-0 to the host.
